We’re adding a number of new, critical roles like this one to help us keep up with demand and keep diversity, equity, belonging and inclusion at the centre.

 

What you offer us 

  • Diploma or Degree-level education or equivalent life experience! 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar content writer, copywriter or other creative writing role in a non-profit, health or community organization

  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills with a plain English approach

  • Able to produce engaging and credible copy from a blank page, including an understanding of how to adapt for different audiences and purposes

  • A master at web search to unearth brilliant sources

  • You excel in a high-growth environment, working at start-up pace, embracing change and adjusting course regularly 

  • Experience managing lots of tasks at once, able to prioritize your workload accordingly and work to a deadline

  • You’re an infinite learner — you enjoy researching and learning about diversity, equity, belonging and inclusion in particular

  • You’re resilient and proactive and thrive in an autonomous (but supportive) environment

  • You get pleasure from doing a phenomenal job and going the extra mile

Part-time hours:

10 - 15 per week

 

Part-time, Freelance Salary:

$20.00-$25.00 per hour

 

Work from home schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• Occasional weekend availability
