Our Gratitude. Our Commitments.

Land Acknowledgment
At Pages For Good, we recognize that we are all part of a larger story. The land on which we gather and work is not just a backdrop but a vibrant character in its own right—a land that has nurtured communities for generations.
We humbly acknowledge that we are on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. For thousands of years, this land has been a gathering place for many Nations, including the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, and Wendat peoples. It has been a place of connection, sustenance, and story—a living testament to the resilience and wisdom of those who came before us.
As stewards of this story today, we commit to learning, listening, and honouring Indigenous voices. This is not a passive acknowledgment but an active responsibility to care for this land and support its rightful caretakers.
We extend our gratitude to Ask Auntie Consulting, for their thoughtful guidance in developing our Land Acknowledgement. Their work in advancing Indigenous knowledge and reconciliation has strengthened our commitment to honouring this land and its caretakers.
Equity + Anti-Oppression Commitment
Equity is not just a principle—it is a practice, a responsibility, and a commitment. Health, justice, and dignity are interconnected, and we believe that those who have been historically silenced must be heard, valued, and amplified.
We acknowledge that racism, colonialism, ableism, and discrimination are not relics of the past but ongoing realities that limit access to healthcare, education, and opportunity.
As communicators, storytellers, and advocates, we are committed to:
Listening deeply to lived experiences and centring community leadership.
Challenging injustice through advocacy, strategic communications, and systemic change.
Creating inclusive spaces where all people—regardless of race, gender, ability, or background—are seen, heard, and respected.
Holding institutions accountable and amplifying movements for social justice.
Equity is an ongoing process of learning, unlearning, and rebuilding. We invite you to join us in shaping a future where health and dignity are rights, not privileges, and where every community has the power to define its own story.
